Our Collaborative Early 90's (1990-1994) Ultimate Playlist

Jessica's Memory

Hey ladies!

Just found your podcast a few weeks ago via the "Welcome to RealiTV" podcast & I've been bingeing every chance I get!  I'm 36 years old & have been a huge NKOTB fan since the 80's.  I was also a huge NSYNC/BSB fan in high school/college.  I'll have to write in again with some of my boy band stories, like the super awkward time I met Maurice Starr when he made a boy band in the late 90's (they were called 6Piece and they were even worse than you'd think!).  Then there was the time I was at the Radio City show where NKOTB brought out BSB, but I was a little too drunk to remember (because I had just seen NKOTB the week prior to that & we had nosebleed seats, so I kinda went into it with a "who cares" attitude)  I've met NKOTB twice (we "only" did the lowest level of meet & greet) back in 2009-2010 I think (I'm writing this from work so I can't reference ticket stubs or anything)

Anyway, I just finished your "Step 5" episode from 7/31/17 & had to write in to share my obsession with cereal LOL

Nintendo cereal was the best!!!  I remember the front of the box had a (special edition?) hologram cover that I cut out & saved for YEARS.  Some of my other favorites that are no longer around are Smurf cereal, Circus Time cereal, and Ice Cream Cone cereal.  I also loved the monster cereals (Count Chocula/Booberry/etc) but they don't taste the same anymore.  I'm still obsessed with Lucky Charms & can't buy it because I could literally eat an entire box in one sitting.  The whole reason I needed to stop what I was doing & write this e-mail was to say that I've always thought Good Humor strawberry shortcake ice cream bars taste just like either Strawberry Shortcake cereal or Smurf cereal (can't remember which since it was so long ago) so you should pick up a box if you've never tried them!

Okay, that went on for way too long--gotta get back to work (and back to binge listening!)  Love you guys, keep up the great work!
